The Word

From the word ‘Text’
I
or We
leave apart.
Some leave this word
for ever
Some go separate for the time being
and then entwine themselves with the text
once again.
Some more
waiting for the opportune moment and person
neither permanently
nor temporarily
retain the word parting
so very secretly.
If the word ‘Text’ were to appear
here
before you
from out of blue
as election contestant
where you are now digging pit for the Text
would become known.

I began playing a flute
A dry leaf began to fly
Metamorphosing into a butterfly
Came to sit on my lap
A vulture got pigeon feathers
Soft breeze turned in search of window
My wound and pain
Relieved themselves of their
Natural element
I returned to my poem.

சொல்.

பிரதி என்ற சொல்லிலிருந்து
நான்
அல்லது நாம் பிரிந்து செல்கிறோம்
சிலர் இச்சொல்லிலிருந்து
நிரந்தரமாக பிரிந்து சென்றுவிடுகிறார்கள் 
மற்றும் சிலர் தற்காலிகமாக பிரிந்து சென்று
மீண்டும் பிரதியுடன் ஒட்டிக்கொள்கிறார்கள்
இன்னும் சிலர் 
இடம் சந்தர்ப்பம் நபர் பார்த்து
நிரந்தரமும் இல்லாமல்
தற்காலிகமும் இல்லாமல் 
பிரிவு என்ற சொல்லை
மிக ரகசியமாக வைத்துக்கொள்கிறார்கள்
இங்கே பிரதி என்ற சொல்
தேர்தல் கள வேட்பாளனாய்
உங்கள் முன்
சடுதியாய் தோன்றினால்
எந்த இடத்தில் இப்போது பிரதிக்கு குழிதோண்டிக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றீர்கள் என தெரிய வரும்.

ஒரு புல்லாங்குழலை வாசிக்க ஆரம்பித்தேன்
சருகொன்று பட்டாம் பூச்சியாய்
பறக்க தொடங்கியது
சில நட்சத்தரங்கள்
மடியில் வந்தமர்ந்தன
வல்லூறு ஒன்றுக்கு
புறாச் சிறகுகள் கிடைத்தன
சன்னலைத் தேடி மெல்லிய காற்று
திரும்பிற்று
என் காயமும் வலியும்
அதனதன் இயல்பை கழற்றிக் கொண்டன
என் கவிதைக்கு நான் திரும்பினேன்.
